Meet Diana Kain Au.D, CCC-A

Dr. Diana Kain is licensed in Iowa as a Doctor of Audiology and Dispensing Audiologist. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Iowa and her Master’s degree in Audiology from University of Northern Iowa. She also studied with A.T. Still University where she obtained her degree as a Doctor of Audiology.

Dr. Kain is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Prior to entering private practice seven years ago, she worked 11 years at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where she completed tinnitus research, cochlear implant research and patient mapping, and adult and pediatric hearing diagnostics at one of the leading Departments of Otolaryngology in the country. Dr. Kain is an expert in difficult hearing aid fittings as she has a strong foundation in diagnosing medically complicated cases. Throughout her career, Dr. Kain has spoken extensively on hearing healthcare and also serves as a clinical supervisor for doctoral students.
