Diana Kain (Co-Founder & Audiologist)
Dr. Diana Kain is licensed in Iowa as a Doctor of Audiology and Dispensing Audiologist. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Iowa and her Master’s degree in Audiology from University of Northern Iowa. She also studied with A.T. Still University where she obtained her degree as a Doctor of Audiology.
Dr. Diana is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Prior to entering private practice seven years ago, she worked 11 years at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where she completed tinnitus research, cochlear implant research and patient mapping, and adult and pediatric hearing diagnostics at one of the leading Departments of Otolaryngology in the country. Dr. Diana is an expert in difficult hearing aid fittings as she has a strong foundation in diagnosing medically complicated cases. Throughout her career, Dr. Diana has spoken extensively on hearing healthcare and also serves as a clinical supervisor for doctoral students.
Jennifer Anfinson Reekers (Co-Founder & Audiologist)
Dr. Jennifer Reekers is licensed in Iowa as a Doctor of Audiology and Dispensing Audiologist. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Hearing Sciences from Minnesota State University Moorhead and her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Iowa. She obtained her degree as a Doctor of Audiology from the #1 audiology doctoral program, University of Iowa, in 2009.
Dr. Jennifer is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the American Tinnitus Association. She has clinical experience from VA healthcare systems and private ENT clinics. Dr. Jennifer specializes in hearing aid technology, counseling and hearing rehabilitation, with emphasis on tinnitus treatment. Living with her own childhood hearing loss inspired Dr. Jennifer to become an audiologist. Given she wears a hearing aid herself, Dr. Jennifer offers a unique perspective when counseling realistic expectations and the benefits of amplification.
