Meet Rachael Carroll Au.D, CCC-A

Dr. Rachael Carroll is licensed in Iowa as a Doctor of Audiology and Dispensing Audiologist. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the top-ranked audiology doctoral program, University of Iowa.

Dr. Carroll is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association. She has clinical experience working with VA healthcare systems and ENT hospital settings. Dr. Carroll grew up admiring her father help patients as an Ear, Nose & Throat physician, which inspired Dr. Carroll to become an audiologist. Dr. Carroll has been involved with tinnitus research at the University of Iowa, co-authoring Tinnitus Suppression in Cochlear Implant Patients Using a Sound Therapy App published in the Journal of the American Academy of Audiology (2018) and Tinnitus Sound Therapy Trial Shows Effectiveness for Those with Tinnitus published in the Journal of the American Academy of Audiology (2019).
